Project Description

This project, All Electric vehicle for city use( Project 180 ) is an ongoing project that converts a Mazda MX5 to an electric vehicle. The aims of this project is to design, develop and integrate a higher voltage battery storage system. This will be done by replacing the existing battery system, refine the synchronous motor control algorithms and decrease the operating voltage of the vehicle by removing inefficient cooling techniques for the on board power electronics.
