Project team Project students Tsan Sum Lee Benjamin Redjepi Supervisors Mathias Baumert Motivation & Objectives The conventional EEG is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record electrical activity on the scalp, which represents the macroscopic activity of the surface layer of the brain underneath. However, this technique is expensive, immobile, and mentally taxing, which consists of a bunch of wires and using several electrodes (10-20). Due to the cumbersome setup, it limits the number of applications as a diagnostic tool and the degree of exploration in research. The objective of this project is to develop an innovative setup to overcome the drawbacks of scalp-EEG to capture EEG signals effectively.
