Abstract here

Introduction

The impacts of increased PV connections to the power grid vary from over-voltages and voltage imbalances to power quality, protection and stability issues. To avoid these impacts, there is a fixed export limit placed on solar PVs, which limit how much solar generation can be exported. With better modelling of the LV (low voltage) network, a more accurate export limit can be set. Currently, there are limitations on the model of low voltage (LV) network, which include low visibility of conductor impedances and ratings (only 4% of the LV overhead network).
